With the opening of the Insurance Sector, Alliance Insurance was established in 1998 and was the second company in the insurance sector to being operations in Tanzania.

Alliance is the only Composite Insurer in the country doing General and Life Business.

The head office is based in Dar es Salaam with branches in Arusha, Mwanza and Moshi the other main commercial centers in the country.
